The EVO 300 series uses exclusively Swiss silver-plated oxygen-free copper (OCC) conductors with a Teflon dielectric in the critical part of the audio signal for the ultimate transfer speed and microscopic clarity of detail. Tube amplifier ownership has never been easier or safer. The intelligent Adaptive AutoBias™ passive circuit constantly monitors and adjusts the bias current of each individual tube, reducing distortion by more than half and extending the life of the tube assembly. SmartWatts technology maintains an optimal voltage of 417 volts, and the SoftStart system protects the tubes from initial thermal shock. If one of the tubes fails, advanced relay protection immediately protects the transformers, and a red LED (Bad Tube Indicator) shows you exactly which tube needs to be replaced - without the need for soldering or multimeter adjustments.
The construction includes a premium ALPS motorized potentiometer, Nichicon and DuRoch polypropylene capacitors, and ceramic tube bases. All WBT-style speaker terminals are solid, gold-plated solid-shaft designs for perfect contact.
