The KEF Ci100.2QR delivers a premium sound experience that is literally invisible in your environment. This ultra-compact round speaker is a proud part of KEF's innovative Soundlight Series, which was developed with a clear goal: to offer the most unobtrusive and aesthetically pure architectural sound possible. When installed in the ceiling, the Ci100.2QR speaker is so small (just 136 mm in diameter) that it blends in perfectly with recessed halogen or LED lights.  The sound core of this micro speaker is KEF's patented Uni-Q® technology with a 75mm (3") bass-midrange driver and a 16mm (0.6") aluminium tweeter. The tweeter is equipped with a unique tangerine sound guide, which further widens and smooths the dispersion of high frequencies. Because both units act as a single, point source of sound, the sound is distributed extremely wide and evenly throughout the room. This eliminates rigid optimal listening points and ensures a clear and natural soundscape anywhere in the room.

 From an aesthetic and engineering perspective, the speaker is the pinnacle of minimalism. It is equipped with UTB™ Ultra-Thin Bezel technology, which brings a barely visible, extremely thin round edge around the magnetic metal grille. The grille and edge can be completely painted with wall paint to blend in with the ceiling. The speaker boasts an official IP64 weatherproof certificate, meaning it is protected against moisture and dust and ideal for bathrooms or kitchens. It also comes with a removable rear casing - without the casing, the installation depth is only 52 mm, allowing installation in extremely tight suspended ceilings.
