The flagship of the KEF R-Series centre speakers, the R6 Meta is designed for the ultimate home cinema enthusiast who doesn’t want to compromise on sonic power and clarity. Sharing the exact same 12th generation Uni-Q® driver and powerful 165mm hybrid aluminium woofers as the larger stereo models in the range, the R6 Meta delivers impeccable tonal consistency and creates an incredibly deep and vibrant soundstage that literally brings movies to life before your eyes.
The key to its exceptional sound fidelity lies in Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT™), taken directly from the prestigious The Reference series. MAT™ acts as an acoustic damper that absorbs 99% of unwanted sound waves from behind the tweeter, drastically reducing distortion and ensuring perfectly clear, natural and distinct dialogue. Thanks to the Uni-Q design, where sound comes from a single point, the sound waves spread extremely wide and evenly. This greatly increases the ideal listening area (sweet spot), so everyone in the room will enjoy the same superior sound experience.
The closed box design of the speaker allows for incredibly fast, tight and precise bass, while also making it extremely easy to place and can be placed directly in an AV cabinet or close to a wall. The KEF R6 Meta is also extremely versatile and can be used throughout the front line of a home cinema as an LCR (Left-Center-Right) speaker, providing the most homogeneous and powerful soundstage a film buff can imagine.
