 The engineering excellence of this model is based on the patented HDI™ (High-Definition Imaging) horn that dominates the front panel. This is not just an aesthetic addition, but the key to incredibly accurate sound imaging and controlled dispersion. At its throat is an advanced 25 mm 2410H-2 compression driver, which provides lightning-fast response and crystal-clear highs, without distortion even at high volumes. The lower end of the spectrum is covered by a 165 mm (6.5 inch) woofer with a pure cellulose membrane (Pure Pulp), which, in combination with dual front-facing bass-reflex ports, creates that recognizable, tight and punchy JBL bass.

 The practical value of the 4309 lies in its flexibility. In addition to its iconic retro design, which will become a centerpiece in any room, the speaker offers a unique UHF (Ultra-High Frequency) control. This knob on the front allows you to fine-tune the sound image to your room acoustics or your taste - from softer to analytically sharp. With bass-reflex ports at the front, these speakers are less sensitive to being placed close to a wall than most of the competition.
